'Scholes Maybe Only Retirement Ending This Season'

Manchester - Paul Scholes had not yet decided his future. If any of The Ginger Prince finally decided to hanging up his boots, it wasdeemed not to constitute a surprise.

Scholes contract with Manchester United will expire at the end of thisseason. Sir Alex Ferguson hopes 36-year midfielder will sign a contract extension a year, as did Ryan Giggs. However, until nowScholes has not given an indication about his future.

Manchester United chief executive, David Gill, also have the same hopes with Sir Alex. However, he admitted to not be surprised ifScholes would prefer to follow Gary Neville, who retired.

"It will not surprise us when Paul Scholes retired," said Gill told BBCRadio 5, as quoted by Sportinglife.

"On the other hand, we enjoy the success we had. So at the end ofthe season, he will talk to Sir Alex about it," he continued.

"I'm sure he'll tell us about his decision and we would appreciate it,"said Gill.

"He is a brilliant player for years. Interesting to see Ryan get the title(Premier League) his 12th yesterday, while Paul tenth,"said the manwas 53 years.

"That shows what he has accomplished for us and how fantastic he is," he concluded
